11/06/08 - News of the Day

Foreclosure Investment Seminar Update - We had a nice turnout on Wednesday evening for our seminar. Nine visitors attended. Thank you Val Potts, JoAn Hauber, Cindy Kelly, Nancy Bohlen and Priscilla Watts for encouraging your buyers to attend the session. We also had a few attendees who learned of the seminar in the local newspaper. Thanks to internal attendees last night: Val Potts, JoAn Hauber, Regina Benson, Scott Bohlen, Terri Weisman, Marie Karas and Sherry Hinsperger. And thanks Wanda Kray for setting everything up.

NAR Conference - I'll be attending the NAR conference in Orlando on Friday through Monday, and I'll be blogging from there to share what I learn. Keep checking the site out through the weekend.

Janitorial Service - The person who cleans our offices had a family emergency occur yesterday causing him to leave at short notice. We are currently coordinating service for the time he is out of the country. I appreciate your patience - and apologize for any inconvenience this causes you.

Post your comments here - to share with others. Let's get the conversation going...

  1. That was one of the most relevant speakers we could have possibly had at Preview. I appreciate managements ongoing efforts to insure that we are at the top of the real estate game. I have found this information tremendously helpful and it will help shape my business in the years to come. I believe LJ's attitude towards helping revitalize our communities is exactly what is needed right now. No bailout money could possibly come close to what we can do collectively if we all take responsibility for our actions and make good business decisions. As real estate professionals, I feel it is our duty to get into the foreclosure/short sale business as quickly as possible and help recover as much money as possible for the lenders who make these loans and the people who took them out (and those people will hopefully learn a lot from their mistakes in the process). Thanks again,
