Mark Light from American Home Shield attended our sales meeting this week. He shared a few things you may find of interest:
- First time homebuyer website sponsored by AHS: www.firsthomeexperience.com/main/
- Freon vs. Puron discussion: http://www.furnacecompare.com/freon-vs-puron.html
- Mark suggested as buyer agents we include in offers for bank-owned or government owned properties that the seller pays for home warranty. He said Wells Fargo and Bank of America are working with AHS and won't automatically provide them unless it is specified in the purchase agreement or related addendum.. In addition, Fannie Mae will provide a 6 month warranty and Freddie Mac will provide a 2 year home warranty of written into purchase agreement.
- Realtors can get a home warranty on their current property at competitive rates.
