2/2/10 - The Winter Olympics may be set to begin next month in Vancouver, but a Livingston County native is working hard towards representing the United States at the Summer Games in London in 2012. 24 year old Will Brady of Howell finished second yesterday at the USA Pentathlon Senior Qualifier in San Antonio, Texas. The event served as an opportunity for athletes to earn qualifying points for the 2010 World Cup events and the 2010 Senior World Championships in the sport of modern pentathlon, which comprises the contemporary sports of pistol shooting, fencing, swimming, horse riding and running. Brady is a 2003 graduate of Howell High School and also attended Michigan State University. He is currently a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
