Melissa Shosey, a teacher for Chicago Public Schools, shared information about her school, classroom, students and needs at our sales meeting on Tuesday. Melissa is Kathy Shosey's daughter and an MSU graduate. Donations at the CITO breakfast today generated $200.50, which Melissa will use to buy supplies for her classroom, including pencils, notebooks, construction paper, etc. Thanks to all of you who helped today!
This note came from Melissa: "Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed money and supplies both today and in the past to my students and the other 1st grade classes. We really appreciate the wonderful gifts and they will go towards a good cause. I plan to use the money to buy some paper and some more books for our classroom libraries. Thank you for coming today and listening to me speak and for all the wonderful breakfast food."
