Message from Countrywide Regarding REOs

DEAR AGENTS:

IN AN EFFORT TO HONOR NEGOTIATED CONTRACT TERMS AND CLOSE TRANSACTIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER, I AM ASKING YOU TO PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING ON ALL TRANSACTIONS:

TRACK THE CLOSING PROCESS REGULARLY. CHECKING WITH BUYER'S AGENT/LENDER OR TITLE COMPANY A DAY OR TWO BEFORE CLOSING IS UNACCEPTABLE AND LEAVES LITTLE TIME TO ADDRESS CLOSING ISSUES IN A TIMELY MANNER AND ENSURE THE CONTRACTUAL CLOSING DATE IS MET.

READ AND UNDERSTAND THE 16 PAGE CHL ADDENDUM. IT IS THE SUPERIOR, OVERRIDING DOCUMENT ON ALL TRANSACTIONS. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT CONSTITUTES A BUYER'S DEFAULT AND WHEN A BUYER IS ENTITLED TO RECEIVE AN EARNEST MONEY RELEASE. PLEASE REVIEW THE TERMS OF LOAN APPROVAL, INSPECTIONS, AND PER DIEM CHARGES. BUYERS WHO DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE TERMS OF OUR ADDENDUM WILL BE CHARGED PER DIEM IF AN EXTENSION IS GRANTED.
