Preview Properties.com held our annual Christmas Party on Thursday, December 5. Fun times, catching up with friends, bidding on cool silent auction items and great food, of course!
Through a silent auction and some related fun (like penny wars), our donations direct to Gleaners Community Food Bank totaled $1,115.
Community Relations Manager Bridget Green thought that was wonderful and
said that the doubled monies (so $2,230) would provide 3,030 meals. The remainder of our party donations of $717 was given to
United Way and that money was designated to Gleaners as well. The Triple
Monday portion (so an additional $1,434) will go to the United Way General Fund of which Gleaners gets a portion and the rest of the
monies are divided between the various Livingston County charities.
Special thanks to:
- Ashley Ruokis /Kristy Brown and Attorneys Title - contributing sandwiches and deli platters
- Terri Weisman - magnificent party dessert tray - outta this world!
- Joette Bickel - for decorating the tree and party advice
- Val Potts - party advice! and penny wars coordination
- Jade Hodge - decorating the tree and windows
- Nancy Bohlen - all the cooking and planning and rolling those pennies
- Sandy B, Sandy K, Joette, Nancy, JoAn - our clean-up crew
